I am an absolute sucker for pyjamas, I’ve confessed to my mum before that I actually feel more happy/excited when I’ve just bought pyjamas than when I’ve just bought clothes… She didn’t empathise with me!
Topshops’ current pyjama collection is a dream come true for a Disney/Kardashian freak like me!
I absolutely love these pyjamas, it’s like they were created for me! I think that sharks are awesome, I love the film ‘Finding Nemo’ and as mentioned previously I love pyjamas… so these were definitely created with me in mind (I like to think.) They also make me laugh whenever I look at them as they remind me of the time me and my Mum went on the Finding Nemo ride ‘Crush’s Coaster’ at Disneyland Paris and she just had a bit of a meltdown on it whilst I was loving it!
I mentioned how I was a Kardashian freak in this post, and I think these pyjama’s are definitely a teeny bit Kourtney Kardashian inspired! They are so kitsch and vintagey, a style which Kourtney has said she adores on ‘KUWTK.’ As much as I like these pyjamas I don’t think I’d bother buying them, as Topshop is renowned for it’s small sizes, and there is just no way that that shirt would fasten over my chest!
I’d say that this also reminds me of The Kardashians after the episode where there was a pyjama party and there were very vintage and kitsch night-shirts featured just like this one!
I adore this shirt, I may purchase it for myself once it’s been my birthday next weekend, and I think I’ve got a better chance of getting it to fit over my boobs considering it’s over sized!
And last but not least, these Moomin pyjamas! I am such a sucker for a cuffed bottom and that’s what really sells these PJ’s to me, plus I love the colour and print of the bottoms. I used to watch The Moomins at my Grandparents house after school, and I think they’re so cute now, even though back then they kinda creeped me out and some elements of the programme certainly still do!
Rihanna/Kylie Jenner Inspired stiletto nails.
When i first saw stiletto nails some time back in 2009 when Lady Gaga was rocking them on her Monster Ball tour, I simply thought ‘gross.’
How wrong and naive I was!
Since then they’ve grown increasingly popular, and I’ve grown to like them more and more.
I think the person who wears them best and gives them their credibility is definitely Rihanna, it’s the only manicure she seems to ever have!
I wish I could do the same, however it’s just a recipe for disaster considering I’m working with cameras/microphones/generally fiddly as shit pieces of equipment at uni day in and day out, these nails just wouldn’t do anything to help me when it’s already enough of a struggle!
